Bathroom Remodel Reveal

Bathroom Remodel Reveal

Oh guys, it’s reveal time! I feel like a kid at a candy store, and I can’t wait to show you how this space has come together. I am remodeling my daughter’s bathroom that she shares with the guest room. The space is very 90’s and bland. Thanks to Jeffrey Court the space now reflects my daughter’s fun personality (and one I won’t be embarrassed to share with our guests). Here’s a before:

And here’s the bathroom remodel reveal!

And another before:

And the after:

If you aren’t familiar with Jeffrey Court, they have large selection of gorgeous tile.  I spent a lot of time considering what tile to use, and I ultimately landed on what I considerate be elegant and timeless. I have removed WAY too much tile and know how difficult and messy the demo process is, so I selected tile I would love for years to come. For the walls, I used the Allegro White 3×6 inch Ceramic Wall Tile.

I chose the classic subway tile, but I changed things up and had fun with the pattern. I made the cat silhouette for my daughter whose goal is to be “a crazy cat lady” when she grows up. If you look, you’ll notice the cat is closely watching a bird on the wallpaper…

On the floors, I used the Retro Octagon White Dot Mosaic Tile.

Here’s a little video I made specifically for Jeffrey Court, the Renovation Challenge judges, and for YOU (my readers)!

It was an honor to participate in this competition!

Thanks again to Jeffrey Court for sponsoring this competition and good luck to all the designers! It’s been fun!

  1. Your bathroom is gorgeous. I’m in the process of picking out all the pretties for my bathroom reno. I’m doing subway tiles and a floor similar to yours except I’m thinking a black diamond in the middle of the octagons. I love all the brass hardware you have and expecially love your lights. Could you please tell me where you purchased them and your cabinet hardware. Good luck. I hope you win the trip!

    1. Oh, your bathroom sounds like it’s going to be gorgeous! Basically everything in the bathroom is from The Home Depot – including the lights. The vanity is also from THD, and it came with the hardware (but it was nickel and I painted it gold).

  2. Swoon. You really did something very special here. Good luck with the competition and keep up the great work with your beautiful design work.

  3. A wonderful bathroom remodel. I only wish I could that so my bathroom would be as beautiful. I signed up for your blog seeing how very talented you have shown us.

  4. Wow!! This is such a unique, refreshing remodel. I love that you made it your own in so many ways. LOVE the cat art. The black and white theme coupled with the floral/bird wallpaper as a pop really works! I’m just loving this whole thing!

  5. This is just stunning! I came upon your post because I’m about to put this wallpaper in our master bathroom remodel! I’m having trouble commiting to a vanity color other than white! Can you talk to me about the bathroom door color? It appears to be a different shade than the vanity? Thanks in advance. So so gorgeous!!

  6. I’m going to be renovating my bathroom and love the vanity from THe home Depot, but I’m having trouble finding it online can you please link it? Thank you!!

  7. I love this remodel! And your sweet video and encouraging words. I am about to attack our bathroom remodel and am using yours for inspiration! What color of white did you paint your walls?

  8. This is so beautiful! I adore the wallpaper paired with the vanity color, and highlighting the tile shapes instead of colors. Could you share what grout color you chose? Thank you!
