Guest Room Refresh

We all have spaces in our homes that need a little TLC, and my guest bedroom was one of the spaces.  Thanks to Tuesday Morning I am ready for our holiday guests with our guest room refresh!

Guest Room Refresh

Our guest bedroom is one of those catch-all spaces, and I was always embarrassed to open the door for our guests.  Now thanks to some organizing and updated decor items, I can open the door confidently for our guests!

It had been while since I visited a Tuesday Morning, and I was thrilled with all my amazing finds.  I want the high end look but hate paying a lot, and Tuesday Morning allows me the sophistication I love without breaking the bank. Since this room is for hosting, I was excited to find all sorts of things to pamper my guests.  I found this gorgeous mirrored tray and set it on the bed.  It is filled with beautiful blue-striped towels and the prettiest soap for our guests.

I do not love our carpet, but we will be living with it for awhile.  It is just so bland…and so brown.  One of the first things on my list for the guest room refresh was a rug, and I found the most perfect one!

It looks like an expensive antique, and I absolutely love the color palette.  I based the rest of the room off this rug, and I was so happy my painted flea market headboard well with the new rug.

My guests will feel like they’re staying at a 4-star hotel with the new bedding.  The comforter, blanket, throw blanket, and velvet pillows are all Tuesday Morning finds.  I couldn’t be more in love with the color of those pillows…

Tuesday Morning offered new deals each and every day which are handpicked by their buyers.  They must have known I was coming in because one of the deals was on their poufs.

I have always wanted a pouf (although I’m not really sure what anyone does with them), and I was thrilled I found one that I could actually afford.  I love the texture it brings to the space, and now I wish I had grabbed another for our family room.

And I can’t stop going on about their candle selection.  There is a particular sent from a really luxurious hotel that I am absolutely obsessed with, and I found a candle that smells exactly the same.

It’s called blood orange, and I wish you could scratch and sniff your screen – it is so, so good! I loved it so much, I added a second one to the space (plus the color is perfect with the rug).  I also found a simple gold frame (which are so hard to find for some reason) and framed my wifi printable.

Besides having gorgeous home decor items, Tuesday Morning has amazing gift ideas.

I couldn’t help but grab a few amazing steals for my niece and daughter, and I got a jump start on my Christmas shopping!
