I want to paint a gold mirror. Chalk paint gray color , so do I just use clear wax .
Use a fine sanding paper to mark some detail. I was going to use your recipe.

Yes! If you want to paint a gold mirror, you just paint over it with gray chalk paint. You can use the clear wax to seal it and distress it a little with sand paper. You could also use dark wax on top of the clear wax, but I know this complicates things and completely not necessary!
