Follow along on our DIY kitchen remodel journey and a huge thank you to The Home Depot for partnering with me on this project. It would not be happening without them!
I am so behind on updates, but today I am sharing the latest of our Kitchen Remodel – Week 6, 7, and 8!
If you are following our remodel journey, go here to see Week 9 – Finishing Touches!
Steve and I had scheduled a vacation to Mexico with some friends WAY before we knew the kitchen remodel was going to happen (and I shared a gorgeous colorful surf town we visited HERE). Although the timing seemed crazy, it really was the best thing for us. We have spent all our free time working on this remodel, and doing that can be a little crazy for a marriage. Taking a break was SO good! We are refreshed and ready to tackle this kitchen – especially now that the finish line is in sight!
This week was a big week because our countertops from The Home Depot were installed!
Installation was easy and quick (under two hours) and the installers were great.
We went with a quartz that looks like marble called Pearl Jasmine from Silestone.
I was more than happy to sit back and watch rather than DIY this project.
I cannot express to you how excited we are to have countertops, and they are absolutely gorgeous! We went with the suede finish to try and mimic the marble look as much as possible.
More to come!
